How do pre-orders work?
By making a pre-order you will get your socks in the earliest possible timeframe. Our socks have already been ordered and are currently being made at our factory. We expect them to be finished by late July. Once they are finished, we export them out of Japan and send them to you. Conservatively, we expect all pre-orders to be shipped by mid-August.
I made a pre-order, will I get a tracking number?
You will get a tracking number once your socks are shipped. We expect all pre-orders to ship by mid August 2026.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes! In your confirmation email there will be a cancellation button. Once your order is shipped, you can no longer cancel. But you can follow our returns process listed below.
How are Gamba Socks different than normal socks?
Gamba Climbing Socks have LockWeave™ micro grip fabric on the toe and heel that grips your climbing shoe. They also dry quickly, have left and right toe boxes, and seamless heels and toes.
What size should I order?
Gamba Socks fit true to size. Check out our size guide before ordering. Downsizing your socks is not necessary.
How do I wash my socks?
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low or hang dry (recommended). Do not bleach.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
30-Day Returns
We want you to love your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method within 3–7 business days.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective returns unless otherwise stated. Customized, final sale, and gift card purchases are not eligible for return.
How long do I have to return an item?
Socks in original condition can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

Can I exchange my item?

Shipping and Orders
Where do you ship?
For pre-sales, we are taking orders for North America, some EU countries, Australia, and New Zealand.
If we don't ship to your country (yet) you will not be able to make a pre-order. Sorry about that! We are making every effort to expand our shipping regions but as a small company, it will take some more time.
What does shipping cost?
For US orders: $6.95 or free shipping over $55.00.
For Canadian Orders: $12.00 or free for orders over $70.00.
For all other locations - please check the shipping cost at checkout.
When will I receive my order?
Pre-orders will ship in mid August, 2026.
Once your order has shipped, here is the expected delivery timeline:
For US orders: 2-8 business days.
For Canadian Orders: 5-10 business days.
All other locations: 7-14 business days.
Are Import Duties included in prices?
Yes! All prices include duties.

Do I need to downsize my climbing socks?
No! Gamba Socks fit true to size.
How long will the socks last?
Gamba Socks are extremely durable and should last years with regular use. If your sock doesn't meet your expectations, reach out to us at hello@gambasocks.com
Does the grip fade over time?
No! The grip does not fade over time. In fact, we think it gets better with age.
What are the materials?
74% Polyester, 18% Nylon, 5.5% Spandex, 2.5% Rayon (Bamboo).
Where are Gamba Socks made?
Gamba Socks are 100% made in Japan. Our factory is in Nara Prefecture (the sock capital of Japan).
